My job will deeply regret letting me decorate my desk. My first day was Monday (when I was supposed to upload my letter.. ough…) and so far so good FINGERS CROSSED. One of the main things I was waiting to see once I started working was my coworkers’ desks and if it would be insane for me to go all out. I didn’t even have to ask my manager before she brought up my ability to decorate my desk however I want, so naturally I brought all my little Gorillaz figures to keep me company on day 2. I’m starting slow and building up to a monument to my Mackness.

I know you’ve noticed how long my hair has gotten and I have to say… the length? Awesome. The fact that I had no layers on the top because they all grew out and I have a Lot of hair so it gets weighed down and makes my head look flat? WORST LOOK EVER. I went to work with a flat head for 2 days until I went over to my parents’ house and asked my mom to give me the Youtube Tutorial Wolf Cut Special. Goodbye kinda long hair… I’m currently waiting for it to dry so we shall see how big of a comeback my waves plan to make.

Also. Another thing I’ve learned about this job. I NEEDED BLUETOOTH EARBUDS SO BAD. If I don’t put music on in the background of my 8 hour workday I will go insane. Shoutout Target for my awesome new $25 earbuds <3

I have yet to get used to sitting at a desk for 8 hours but I’m sure it will find its way into my daily routine in no time. I’m not even starting my day at my desk tomorrow, they’re sending me into the field to meet with salespeople sooo it should be interesting AND very cold. Also I left my earbuds with my mom on accident OUGHHHHH

Anyway.. what have I been up to the last two weeks you may ask? Absolutely nothing you don’t already know about. I watched 7 full jdramas. Literally nothing else. This letter will unfortunately be so much shorter due to the fact that I slouched in bed with my projector playing hours on hours of lawyer x conman, murder mystery, slice of life, flopping boy groups, and much more. I think my brain actually turned to slush. WORTH IT.

One of those dramas—the flop boy group one—introduced me to my new favorite actor, Coki Yamashita, and in turn to my new favorite jpop group, Wild Blue. DUDE. I fucking love their new song so much. Bubbles went platinum in my APARTMENT 💯

So um. I got nothing else. That was literally everything from my last two weeks. I’ve never been so unproductive in my life and it was awesome.

And you know what… if you were given 2 weeks, no responsibilities, and you were told to rot in bed the whole time watching new shows, what TV shows/movies would you finally get around to watching? No rewatches allowed. Sorry New Girl.
